Dental cleanings are usually done at your first appointment following your examination. We use a state-of-the-art machine called a Cavitron. This tool has a cleaning tip that vibrates at a high frequency and along with a gentle water spray is effective in removing stain and deposits stuck to the teeth.
Once this step is completed, we meticulously hand scale the surfaces of your teeth with dental instruments called “curettes”.
We then complete your cleaning by polishing and flossing your dentition.
